Some of our Business Partners make their donations based on programs they already have involving community participation. For example:
  • Lamb's Palisades Thriftway and New Seasons Markets donate money from can and bottle returns.
  • New Seasons donates the profit from some of their locally purchased fruit.
  • Lamb's Palisades Thriftway and St. Honoré Boulangerie both hold events in the spring and fall and donate a percentage of their sales to the Foundation. During their first year as a Business Partner, New Seasons donated over $15,000!

Another Business Partner who provides donations based on community member participation programs is Countrywide Financial. For the full story, please see the case study on the Realtor and Mortgage Lender Recognition page.
