| Local businesses recognize that our excellent Lake Oswego school's have been a driving force in making this community such a desireable place to live. As a result, it is also a great place to do business. |
| This synergy creates a natural partnership between the Lake Oswego community, local businesses, our schools and the Foundation where we work together to: |
- promote a thriving business community
- increase traffic to our retail establishments and restaurants
- and raise money for our schools!
|
| To this end, the Foundation has created targeted business programs in support of specific sectors of the business community through special events, promotions, advertising, signage and more. These programs are a "win-win" for the
Foundation and program participants. Currently, there are two such programs: |

The Foundation has developed programs specifically to thank and promote our realtor and lending partners. For details, click here. |
Lake Oswego is well on its way toward becoming a desitnaion of choice for great shopping and dining. The Foundation has successfully worked with many local establishments to create and promote events that benefit both the businesses and our schools. These usually take the form of specifying a "Foundation Day," where the merchant donates a percentage of its proceeds to the Foundation. |
| In return, the Foundation promotes the business and the event on this web site, in advertising, and through ListServ, via an e-Blast to all families in the district. Lake Oswego parents understand that these events directly benefit their children through their school. They consistently step up to make the "Foundation Day" a success, and will recognize the generosity of the participating business with continued patronage. |
- Foundation Friday, where Accessories from the Heart, Bernard C Chocolaterie, Chrisman Picture Frame & Gallery, Chuck’s Place, Graham’s Book & Stationery, Grapevine Women’s Apparel, Lakeside Home & Gift, R. Bloom’s of Lake Oswego, and The Pine Needle all had a great shopping day and gave a percentage of their proceeds to the Foundation.
- Wine Tasting at Port City Pasta, who donated the entire $10 door fee to the Foundation.
- Foundation Days at Zeppo, Pizzacato, Tucci's and Deno's Pizza.
